Charities

Made Together Music can work with charities that support children and young people, people with learning disabilities, autistic people, disabled participants, families, carers and communities experiencing barriers to accessing the arts. Projects can be developed around the charity’s own aims, whether that is building confidence, encouraging communication, creating opportunities for self-expression, supporting social connection or giving participants a positive shared experience to work towards. A programme might involve one group recording an original song, several groups contributing tracks to a charity EP, or a larger project built around a campaign, anniversary, awareness event or community celebration.

We understand that charities often need projects to deliver more than just an enjoyable activity. Made Together Music can work with organisations to build clear outcomes into the programme, gather participant and staff feedback, and create a finished piece of work that can help demonstrate impact to families, funders and supporters. Our founder has extensive experience working with people with additional support needs through education, community participation, transition and creative programmes, alongside a background in music production and live performance. This allows us to offer projects that are organised, adaptable and sensitive to the needs of the people taking part, while still giving participants the experience of creating something that feels genuinely theirs.
