Advanced One-Song Project
Take Your Song Further.
Service Description
The Advanced One-Song Project is designed for groups who would like to take their original song further, with more time for creativity, recording and production. This package gives participants the opportunity to explore the full process of creating a finished piece of music, from the first idea through to the final mix. The project can include songwriting, lyric development, live instruments, vocals, percussion, electronic sounds, beat-making, spoken word and group recording, depending on the interests and abilities of the participants. Unlike the shorter pilot project, the advanced version allows more space for the group to shape the song in greater detail. Participants can experiment with different sounds, try out musical ideas, record multiple takes and listen back to their work as it develops. This gives the group a stronger sense of ownership over the finished track and helps them experience what it feels like to be part of a real recording project. The project includes planning, workshop delivery, recording, editing, mixing and private digital delivery of the finished song. It can also include simple artwork and a private listening link, creating a more complete “single release” style experience for the organisation and participants. This option is ideal for schools, SEN settings, youth groups or community organisations who want a more polished final product, extra creative time and a deeper music-making experience, while still keeping the project focused around one original song. Participants do not need any previous musical experience, and nobody is required to sing or perform on their own. The project is shaped around the group, with different ways to contribute including writing ideas, choosing sounds, playing instruments, recording vocals, creating beats, helping with artwork, naming the track or giving feedback during the production process. The aim is to create a finished song that the group can be proud of, while supporting confidence, teamwork, communication, creativity and self-expression.
