Service Description
Our EP and Album Projects are designed for groups who want to go beyond a single song and create a larger body of work together. This might be a short EP of two or three tracks, a full album-style project, a collection of group soundscapes, or a themed recording project built around a school topic, youth programme, awareness campaign or community celebration. Rather than trying to complete everything in one session, these projects allow ideas to develop over time. Participants can return to their work, build confidence with the equipment, try different creative roles and see how individual ideas become part of a bigger finished piece. A project could involve several small groups each creating their own track, one group developing a collection of songs together, or different participants contributing to different parts of the same recording. Some may write lyrics. Others may play instruments, create beats, record spoken words, choose sounds, help with artwork, name tracks or take part in listening and feedback sessions. The shape of the project is flexible. For some organisations, the focus may be on accessibility, confidence and participation. For others, it may be about creating a polished final release, preparing for a showcase, or giving an existing music group the chance to record properly in a familiar setting. Sessions can include live instruments, vocals, percussion, keyboards, electronic music, beat-making, sampling, sound effects, spoken word and group songwriting. The project can be kept simple and relaxed, or built into a more detailed recording experience depending on the group’s interests, abilities and goals. EP and Album Projects work well for: - Schools wanting a term-based creative project - SEN settings looking for an inclusive group achievement - Youth centres developing confidence and self-expression - Community organisations creating a shared celebration - Charities or funded programmes looking for a meaningful arts outcome - Existing bands or music groups who want to record their material The final outcome can be presented as a digital EP or album package, including finished audio files, simple artwork, track titles, group credits and a private listening link. Where appropriate permissions are in place, organisations may also choose to add physical copies, a listening event, public online sharing, or support with release to platforms such as YouTube, SoundCloud, Spotify or Apple Music.
