One-Song Pilot Project
A complete music project built around one finished track.
Service Description
The One-Song Pilot Project is the main starting point for organisations who want to experience the full Made Together Music process. It gives your group the chance to create, record and complete an original song in a clear, focused and achievable way. This package is designed to feel exciting without becoming overwhelming. The project begins with a short planning conversation, where we discuss your group, their interests, support needs, musical preferences and the kind of outcome you would like. From there, the session is shaped around your setting and the people taking part. On the day, we bring the instruments, microphones and recording equipment to you. Participants are guided through the process of building a song together, step by step. That might mean choosing a theme, creating a beat, writing simple lyrics, recording group vocals, adding live instruments, using percussion, experimenting with electronic sounds or contributing spoken words and sound effects. The song can be simple, playful, meaningful, energetic, reflective or completely unique to the group. The important thing is that participants are involved in shaping it. Nobody needs to be an experienced musician. Nobody has to sing on their own. The project is built around choice, confidence and participation, with different ways for people to contribute depending on what they enjoy and feel comfortable doing. After the workshop, the recording is taken away and developed into a finished track. This includes editing, arranging, mixing and preparing the final audio so the group receives a polished piece of music that reflects what they created together. The final song is delivered digitally and can be shared privately with the organisation, participants and families, depending on the permissions in place. Optional extras such as artwork, a private listening link, CDs or public online sharing can also be discussed. The One-Song Pilot Project is ideal for schools, SEN settings, youth centres and community organisations who want a meaningful creative experience with a clear finished outcome. It is a practical, accessible way to try Made Together Music - one group, one project, one finished song to be proud of.
